Last week, residents of the western part of the Afghan province of Herat also demonstrated against the Taliban and in support of government security forces, which are now spreading to other cities.
In the aftermath of Tuesday’s attack, Defense Minister Bismillah Mohammadi said he and his family were not harmed, but some of his bodyguards were injured.
A Kabul police spokesman said at least 30 civilians had been evacuated from the scene.
According to the city’s emergency hospital, they have received 11 people injured in the attack.
On the other hand, the Taliban has said that they have killed the governor of Wardak province on Tuesday.
