New York Governor Andrew Cuomo Harassed Women, Investigation Finds

The state’s attorney general says a five-month investigation has found that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed several women in violation of state and federal laws and created an “atmosphere of fear” in the office. ۔

According to the report, Letitia James told a news briefing that an independent investigation showed that Cuomo had “inappropriate behaviour” with 11 women.

He said the Democratic governor’s office had become a “poisonous place to work” where women were harassed.

The 168-page investigative report could be a major blow to Andrew Cuomo’s political future and a major obstacle to his administration.

The investigation against Andrew Cuomo was of a civil nature and will not lead to any direct criminal charges against him.

US President Joe Biden has demanded the resignation of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo after he was found guilty of harassing 11 women.

According to the French news agency, in a five-month independent investigation report, the governor of New York violated federal and state laws by harassing 11 women.

“I think Andrew Cuomo should resign after the investigation report,” US President Joe Biden told a news conference in Washington.

On the other hand, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has rejected the report, saying it was untrue.

Andrew Cuomo has denied the allegations and indicated that he will not resign.
