A knifeman guarded a brutally beaten man enticed to abduction by a honeytrap, according to NYPD cops, while two fellow kidnappers went to meet the victim’s brother to collect a $100,000 ransom.

On February 7, officers discovered the anonymous abduction victim laying under a blanket in a van in Queens, after he’d been subjected to 24 hours of brutal torture at the hands of the kidnap group. Javier Vargas, 24, was detained.

Valerie Rosario allegedly lured him to an apartment in the Bronx after offering him a connection, only for a gang of abductors to kidnap him and FaceTime the victim’s brother while torturing him.

Vargas was apprehended while his two accomplices, who have not been identified, drove their victim’s Honda to collect the money from his stricken brother, according to the New York Post.

After several hours of torture in the Bronx, he was transported to Queens in his car. Vargas’s other two accomplices have yet to be apprehended, according to NYPD sources.

It was revealed that the man was found near death with tape over his lips and nose 24 hours after his agony began.

The anonymous victim was discovered discarded in the back of a truck in Queens by detectives 24 hours after being enticed to the Bronx with the promise of a hook-up by Valerie Rosario, 22.

According to new information uncovered by the New York Post, his ordeal began on February 7 and concluded only 24 hours later when cops discovered him shivering under a blanket stashed inside the back of a van.

One of the victim’s alleged kidnappers, Javier Vargas, 24, was found inside the van, armed with a knife, according to police sources.

After enticing him to an apartment with the intention of having an immoral act, kidnappers in the Bronx nearly killed their victim by cutting, burning, and nearly suffocating him.

‘Give us $100,000 or we will kill him,’ the kidnappers said over Facetime to the victim’s terrified brother as they displayed a knife and proceeded to cut their hostage.

Valerie Rosario, 22, the alleged honeytrap in the conspiracy, was charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, attempted robbery, and other offences on Tuesday.

According to the New York Post, Rosario used her alluring Instagram photographs to entice the 24-year-old victim to an apartment in the Marble Hill district of the Bronx, where he was pistol-whipped, stripped naked, thrown in a bathtub, doused in flammable liquid, and set on fire.

They then dialled his brother’s number and broadcasted their torture and kidnapping while demanding a payment.

Two of the kidnappers drove the victim’s car to a different Bronx area where the brother was waiting for the money.

According to the Manhattan District Attorney’s criminal complaint, police found another suspected kidnapper, Javier Vargas, 24, in the back of a van in Queens, holding a knife to his unconscious prisoner who was wrapped in a moving blanket with duct tape over his mouth. According to the Post, the victim was barely breathing.

According to court documents, suspect Michael Candelario, 24, was also charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, robbery, and attempted assault, although his role in the heinous scheme is not specified in the criminal complaint.

‘She denies all the charges that have been levelled against her and we’re looking forward to addressing this in a court of law,” her lawyer Raymond Loving told DailyMail.com

Rosario, who lives on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, allegedly put up the honeytrap scam on Instagram and persuaded the ‘complete stranger’ to visit a location in Marble Hill, Bronx, around 1 a.m. on February 7.

Valerie Rosario, 22, is accused of luring the unsuspecting 24-year-old guy to her flat for a cruel scheme to be carried out with a bunch of others, according to the New York Post.

She allegedly chose the victim after observing that he frequently posted pictures of money on his personal Instagram account and suggested they meet up.

According to Manhattan prosecutors, the date swiftly transformed into the date of his life when the man was bound and gagged as his kidnappers compelled him to phone his brother and pay $100,000 in ransom money to ensure his release.
