Kyiv: The government claimed Thursday that four buses carrying refugees from the besieged and damaged coastal city of Mariupol had left.
Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk announced on social media that “four evacuation buses managed to leave the city yesterday through the humanitarian corridor,”on Wednesday and that the evacuation of women, children, and the elderly will continue on Thursday.

Proposals for a “special round” of discussions in Kyiv to “save our guys” were made by senior Ukraine negotiator Mykhaylo Podolyak on Wednesday.
