Putin congratulates Macron on his victory in the French election

Russian President Putin congratulated Emmanuel Macron on being the President of France for the second time in a row, on Monday.

The message read, “I sincerely wish you success in your state activities, as well as good health and well-being,” reads the message.

According to the results posted by the French Ministry of Interior, Macron won the presidential election with 58.55% of the votes.

While, his right wing rival Marine Le Pen took 41.45%of the votes.
