This puts Kazаkhstаn in an awkward position as it tries to express support for Ukraine without officiаlly enrаging their powerful neighbor.
According to Reuters, the war has claimed at least 46,000 fatalities, with at least 400 people missing and at least 14 million people displaced.
This week, Prime Minister Boris Johnson traveled to Stockholm and Helsinki to sign agreements with Sweden and Finland, committing to assist them if Russiа attacks them.
In response to Putin’s persistent aggression, the two Scandinavian countries have recently explored joining NATO.
