Texas school shooting: death toll at Robb Elementary School has risen to 18 children & three adults. The shooting was alleged to have occurred near the school’s campus.

According to officials, an active shooter was reported at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, killing eighteen children and three adults.

The Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District informed media that the shooter was near the campus and advised everyone to avoid the area.

“There is an active shooter at Robb Elementary,” the school district said in a tweet. “Law enforcement is on site. Your cooperation is needed at this time by not visiting the campus. As soon as more information is gathered it will be shared.”

The shooting caused the school to be placed on lockdown. Students were transported to the St Willie Delon Civic Centre to be reunited with their parents.

According to Texas Governor Greg Abbott, the shooter has dead.
