A British man, aged 25, fell to his death from the infamous Devil’s Pass mountain in northern Spain. The Devil’s Pass, or Paso del Diablo in Spanish, is a treacherous region between Mount Alliutz and Anboto that has claimed the lives of skilled climbers.
The man, whose name hasn’t been released yet, is thought to have fallen while trying to climb Anboto, a 4,367-foot limestone mountain peak in the Basque Country.

The 25-year-old was apparently staying with a friend in a hotel in Eibar, a city in the Gipuzkoa region.
They were climbing mountains in Basque Country. On June 23, the 25-year-old got separated from his climbing partner and kept going up the hill alone, even though the weather was bad.
Overnight, emergency personnel, including helicopters, rescue dogs, and the Red Cross, conducted a search for the missing teenager.
The Ertzaintza Surveillance and Rescue Unit used a helicopter to get his body on Friday.
