According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine will make every effort to free all of the defenders who are presently being detained in Russian captivity.

In his customary video address to Ukrainians, the head of state said this.

“A total of 144 Ukrainian soldiers, including 59 members of the National Guard, 30 members of the Navy, 28 members of the Army, 17 border guards, nine members of the territorial defence force, and a police officer, have been released from Russian captivity. The youngest and oldest of those set free are both 19 years old. 95 Azovstal defenders, in particular, are returning home “In response to today’s prisoner swap, Zelensky made a statement.

Additionally, he congratulated everyone who contributed to the outcome, including the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

“We will do everything to bring home every Ukrainian man and woman,” Zelensky said.
