All of the passengers, according to officials in the neighbouring state of Guanajuato, came from the same city of Leon. In Mexico, it’s common for friends, family, or neighbours to pool their resources to hire a bus for beach vacations.
According to Nayarit’s prosecutors, the accident happened on a remote section of road on Friday. At least four children, they claimed, were among the deceased.
The tourists, according to the local media, were coming from Guayabitos, a beach village north of Puerto Vallarta.
Investigations into the crash’s causes were ongoing. The condition of the injured remained unknown at this time, however 45 of the injured were receiving treatment at nearby hospitals.Nayarit Puerto Vallarta
