Bahraini MP refuses to sit with pro-Israel ambassadors at UN event
New York: Bahraini MP Mohammed Al-Balushi refused to sit with the US, French, and British ambassadors at the UN event.
According to the foreign media, a ceremony was held at the United Nations headquarters in New York on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people.
It should be remembered that the event is held annually on November 29 at the UN offices in Geneva, Vienna, and Nairobi.
At the ceremony, Bahraini MP Mohammed Al-Balushi gave a bold speech and criticized the US, UK, and France for supporting the Israeli position regarding the aggression against the Gaza Strip.
Mohammed Al-Balushi said that the Palestinian cause is not only for Arabs or Muslims; it is the cause of every free person in the world.
He further continues that we are seeing how oppression is happening in Palestine; there are the worst war crimes in history.
Bahraini MP extended that I am surprised that the American, French, and British ambassadors are here today on the day of solidarity with Palestine; these are the countries that support Israel.
Unfortunately, these people are here today to express solidarity with the Palestinians.
Added to that, he said that it is like killing first and then coming to mourn the funeral. I will not be a part of the event because of this duplicity, and I object to the presence of American, French, and British ambassadors at the event.
