According to the NCM, this weather situation will be caused because “the country is affected by a surface low pressure system from the Red Sea with an extension of upper air trough accompanied by a jet stream from the West and cold air mass with clouds flowing from the west accompanied by convective clouds over scattered areas associated with rainfall.”

Regular cloud seeding missions are being carried out by the NCM to enhance rainfall in the country, focusing on convective clouds. These clouds, resembling stacked cotton balls, are known for carrying rain and are considered ideal for successful cloud seeding. The NCM continually monitors these clouds to assess their moisture content.
Temperatures in the UAE have witnessed a decline in the past 48 hours. In response, Dubai Police have issued a safety advisory for residents, cautioning them about adverse weather conditions. The alert advises staying away from beaches and flood-prone areas, driving cautiously, and following the guidance of authorities.
Additionally, rain is anticipated on Saturday, so be sure to bring an umbrella if you plan to venture out over the weekend.
