Gaza’s Oasis: Saudi Aid Continues to Quench Thirst for Hope
Saudi aid for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, affected by the Israel-Hamas conflict, continues to be sent out.
To date, KSrelief, the Saudi aid agency, has successfully transported 573 tons of supplies through El-Arish International Airport in Egypt.
This assistance comprises 24 flights carrying essential items such as food baskets, shelter bags, tents, blankets, mattresses, winter clothing, dried baby food, dates, and medical supplies.
Moreover, the center has dispatched ambulances, with 14 out of 20 already reaching the Gaza Strip.
KSrelief has additionally dispatched multiple ambulances to Al-Arish airport in Egypt. Currently, 14 out of the planned 20 ambulances have successfully entered the Gaza Strip, as reported by SPA.
KSrelief has dispatched three vessels from Jeddah Islamic Port to Port Said in Egypt. These ships carry a total of 401 containers, with 258 dedicated to medical supplies for hospitals and 143 stocked with food and shelter provisions destined for Gaza.
Simultaneously, Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, an official from KSrelief, held discussions in Riyadh on Sunday with the UN resident coordinator in Yemen, David Gressly.
The meeting focused on matters pertaining to relief and humanitarian efforts in Yemen.
Additionally, on the same day, representatives from KSrelief and the Norwegian Refugee Council in Somalia inked a cooperative agreement.
This collaboration aims to provide support amounting to $1.5 million for the Burao Technical Institute in Somalia.
KSrelief has dispatched three ships from Jeddah Islamic Port to Port Said Port in Egypt, transporting a total of 401 containers. Among them, 258 are specifically designated to provide essential medical supplies to meet the requirements of hospitals in the region, as reported by SPA.
