Abu Dhabi Unveils New Visa Screening Centre

Dubai has opened a new visa screening centre in Abu Dhabi to provide services to the communities in Al Shamkha, Al Shawamekh, Al Falah, Madinat Al Riyad, and Shakhbout City.

The development comes as part of Abu Dhabi’s assurance towards public health and safety in line with values set by the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre.

Operated by Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS), a PureHealth subsidiary, this is the 18th visa screening centre in Abu Dhabi.

The centre, named the Disease Prevention and Screening Centre (DPSC), was inaugurated by Dr. Farida Al Hosani, Executive Director of the Communicable Diseases Sector at Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre, and centre representatives.

Strategically located within the Al Qurm Smart Services Centre at Makani Mall, Al Shamkha, the DPSC is in collaboration with Tasheel and Tawjeeh.

This partnership allows individuals to experience pre-visa health screening alongside visa renewals, streamlining the process and promoting accessibility.

Dr. Al Hosani highlighted Abu Dhabi’s commitment to creating one of the world’s strongest and safest communities, highlighting the importance of visa screening services in achieving this goal.

Dr. Asma Al Halaseh, CEO of AHS, noted that the new DPSC facility at Al Shamkha is the third centre opened within a Tasheel centre, aiming to enhance Abu Dhabi’s health ecosystem and expedite the visa process.

Dr. Khadija Al Marashda, Director of Disease Prevention & Screening Centres at AHS, expressed promise to community outreach by deliberately locating visa screening centers, including within shopping malls.

The Makani Mall centre offers both regular and fast-track services, operating Sunday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, accommodating both appointments and walk-ins. Appointments can be booked through the SEHA Visa Screening app.

AHS serve as Abu Dhabi’s largest provider of visa screening services, also offering a mobile Visa Screening Clinic for corporate bookings via [email protected].
