Natural sensations, lovely cities, historic milestones, and entertainment places are the key attractions to make tourism a major industry in Japan.

It is the reason that the island national received over 2.4 million international visitors in 2023, according to the Japan tourism website.

To ease the tourists by providing a hassle-free visa issuance procedure, Japan last year launched the e-Visa services for precise countries, including Saudi Arabia.

All nationals, including Pakistanis and Indians, who reside in Saudi Arabia are able to apply for a tourist visa online for a stay up to 90 days.

Applicants can submit the visa application through the JAPAN eVISA website where they will fill in the application form and upload the supporting documents to receive the electronic visa.

The eVISA for tourism is valid for three months from the next day of the issuance day.
