IPL 2020: Mumbai Indian’s Complete Squad & Schedule

Mumbai Indians was founded in 2008. The team is owned by India’s biggest conglomerate, Reliance Industries, through its 100% subsidiary IndiaWin Sports. Indians became the first franchise to cross the $100 million mark in brand value among the IPL franchises in 2017.

It won the double by winning its first IPL title, in 2013, by defeating Chennai Super Kings by 23 runs in the final, and then defeated the Rajasthan Royals by 33 runs to win its second Champions League Twenty20 title later that year. They won their second IPL title on 24 May 2015 by defeating the Chennai Super Kings by 41 runs in the final and became the third team to win more than one IPL title.

The team is ready to be in action under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, and Krunal Pandya are among the players retained. On the other hand, six foreign players including Kieron Pollard, Lasith Malinga, and Quinton de Kock have been retained.

Nathan Coulter-Nile:

The MI invested Rs 8 crore to buy the Australian fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile.

Chris Lynn:

Rohit Sharma’s team also bought the Australian batsman Chris Lynn in the IPL 2020 auction for the base price of Rs 2 crore.

Saurabh Tiwary:

Mumbai Indians have bought Indian batsman Saurabh Tiwary for Rs 50 lakh,

Digvijay Deshmukh:

The Indian all-rounder Digvijay Deshmukh has been bought by the Mumbai Kings for Rs 20 lakh.

Prince Balwant Rai Singh:

Prince Balwant Rai Singh, the Indian player is also bought for Rs 20 lakh in the IPL 2020 auction.

Mohsin Khan:

To strengthen the team’s bowling, Mumbai Indians has bought Indian bowler Mohsin Khan for Rs 20 lakh.
