Sindh Cabinet Approves Appointment Of Murtaza Wahab As Administrator Karachi

The Sindh Cabinet has approved the appointment of Murtaza Wahab as Administrator Karachi.

Note that, Murtaza Wahab has been appointed Administrator Karachi on the directives of Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto.

According to details, a meeting of the Sindh Cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in which provincial ministers, advisors, chief secretary and concerned secretaries participated.

In the meeting, the Sindh Cabinet approved the appointment of Murtaza Wahab as Administrator Karachi.

It may be recalled that this month the Sindh government had decided to change the administrator Karachi. Sources said that Murtaza Wahab would be appointed administrator Karachi on the directive of PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto.

Barrister Murtaza Wahab has been given the task of restoring the colours of Karachi and the dilapidated system of KMC has been directed to be repaired.

Later, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and MQM expressed reservations over the appointment of Barrister Murtaza Wahab as Administrator Karachi.

Sindh Governor Imran Ismail also termed the possible appointment of Murtaza Wahab as illegal and said that Murtaza Wahab is a political figure and his appointment as Administrator Karachi could affect the Karachi Transformation Plan.
