A mortgage holder was stunned to track down an unpleasant cloth doll and a chilling note taken cover behind the divider in his new home.
Jonathan Lewis had newly moved into the property in Liverpool when he chose to discover what was inside the space underneath the steps that had been left secured.
The elementary teacher began to slam through the divider and found the doll holding a spine-chilling note that guaranteed it had killed the past proprietors.
Lewis hasn’t been put off by the disturbing note and has tracked down the occurrence “silly”.
“Some of my friends have told me to put my house back on the market and move out but I think it’s just a laugh.” He told the media.
“I’ll be honest, I found the whole thing hilarious. I’d probably do the exact same thing.”
Added, “The letter says 1961 but the estate agent said when she was showing me around that the kitchen was only done four or five years ago.”
“I think it must have been put there then because the paper doesn’t look very old and looks relatively recent.”
