The instructor who captured the scene claimed the bears aren’t new to the school and that they are frequently outside in lockdown.
Humans like taking their children to the park to play, and it appears that animals enjoy it as well. A video of a mother bear teaching her youngster how to slide at a playground has gone viral.
The mother was observed with her cub playing on the jungle gym at Isaac Dickson Elementary School in North Carolina. Betsie Stockslager Emry, a teacher at the primary school, was overjoyed to see the duo’s playing and chose to record it.
The instructor posted the video to Facebook, where it quickly went viral, with netizens reacting with awe, much as she did when shooting it. The video began with an adult black bear on top of the jungle gym, and her baby ascending the stairwell to reach her. The mother was spotted rapidly down the large slide, while the baby one appeared a little shy at first.
Off-camera, two women can be heard cheering for the animal as she rushes to a smaller slide and pats its bottom, guiding her baby to use it. The bears were spotted embracing each other warmly after figuring out how to do slide with ease.
While posting the video, Emry stated, “I LOVE how the mama goes down the big slide and quickly runs to the smaller slide- only to BEAR HUG the little one as they make it to the bottom.”
Emry told the media, that this isn’t the first time the bears have been seen at the school, and that they frequently had to go outside in lockdown, “We often are on perimeter lockdown here for bears on campus,” she added.
