Recently, Pakistan skipper, Babar Azam expressed his disappointment with the selection criteria of the national team for the upcoming T20 series and the World Cup.
According to him, he was not taken into confidence by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) while selecting the players for the T20 squad.
Babar Azam has some problems over the selection of Azam Khan and Sohaib Maqsood in the T20 squad and wanted Faheem Ashraf and Fakhar Zaman in the squad.
According to the chief selector, Mohammad Wasim the selection of Azam and Sohaib was done after the consultation of PCB chairman Ramiz Raja.
Babar got in touch with Ramiz over the selection of Faheem and Fakher, but the chairman ignored him.
Ramiz Raja told him to focus on his game rather than involving in the selection matters.
