Boom Boom Afridi has appealed to the people of Pakistan to support Prime Minister Imran Khan in raising voice for Kashmir.

Shahid Afridi took to social networking site Twitter and said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has raised a voice for Kashmir, so join us for this purpose.

He said that he would go to Muzaffarabad on Friday to support the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s call to support Kashmiris.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced a big jalsa, in order to “send a message to the world about the continuing siege of IOJK by Indian Occupation forces; [and] to show the Kashmiris that Pakistan stands resolutely with them”.

In a twitter post, PM Imran announced that he is going to do a big jalsa in Muzzafarabad on Friday 13 Sept, against the continuing siege of IOJK by Indian Occupation forces.

Previously, Prime Minister Imran Khan, along with Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, visited the restive Line of Control (LoC) last Friday.

According to a brief statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations, the premier was also accompanied by Defense Minister Pervez Khattak, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Chairman of Special Committee on Kashmir Syed Fakhar Imam.

During their visit, the prime minister and army chief interacted with troops and met the families of martyrs.

This year, Defense and Martyrs Day was also observed as Kashmir Solidarity Day.

Tensions between Pakistan and India are high since last month, when ISPR said that Indian forces had used cluster munitions to target the civilian population in Azad Jammu and Kashmir from across the LoC; in violation of the Geneva Convention and international law.
