Federal government is looking forward for the development projects in Baluchistan, said Prime Minister.

According to the details, Prime Minister Imran Khan was talking to a delegation of National Security Workshop’s participant from Baluchistan that called on him in Islamabad on Monday.

He says despite of limited economic resources, the government is focused on development projects in Baluchistan.

Imran Khan said while speaking about China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, the mega project will bring prosperity to Baluchistan and the entire province will benefit from the development of Gwadar once it becomes the economic hub in future.

The Prime Minister expressed the resolve to paying special attention as well as increasing resources for the social and economic development of less developed areas of the country.

He also said Baluchistan has enormous natural resources and the international companies are showing their interest to explore them as a result of prudent economic policies of the PTI government. He said Baluchistan and its people will get advantage of province’s mineral resources.

The Prime Minister also assured the delegation that the federal government will extend maximum cooperation to the provincial government in provision of sports facilities to the Baluchistan youth.

To a question, Imran Khan said we are focusing on eliminating white collar crimes and capacity building of institutions to pursue corruption cases in courts for their logical conclusion.

Two days earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan has ordered concerned authorities to ensure timely completion of the federally funded development projects in Sindh.

He issued the directions during a briefing given to him on Sindh Development Package, in Karachi. Radio Pakistan stated.

Concerned authorities informed the Prime Minister that the federal government has released the whole amount of funds allocated for Sindh Development Package for the current fiscal year.

He was further informed that the first phase of Green Line Project has been completed. However, the operational phase of the project would be presented before the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council for approval.
