Pakistan is all set to impart training to women wood workers free of cost in furniture industry for excel in global markets.

According to the details, Pakistan Furniture Council (PFC) is training and encouraging women furniture designer, now a days – for initiating their own business.

PFC Chief Executive Mian Kashif Ashfaq said, here on Monday, PFC will fully encourage women furniture designers and producers to initiate and promote their own furniture business in local and international markets.

He was expressing these views while talking to a delegation of furniture designers led by illustrious furniture designer Ms Nida Ejaz during a visit at PFC head office.

In this regard, PFC would impart training to women wood workers free of cost for developing innovation of modern trends in furniture industry to attract new investors and buyers worldwide and excel in global markets.

According to him, PFC is taking all steps to promote furniture and associated products made in Pakistan at local and international level.

A leading furniture designer Ms Nida Ejaz on this occasion assured all her support to train female furniture designers and artisans to promote furniture industry.

She said no country has achieved prosperity without harnessing the potential of women.
