At least two people killed, a woman and a girl while two others severely injured in Peshawar on Friday in a car explosion during CNG filling process at the station.

According to details, the security personnel immediately arrived at the scene and shifted the victims to the hospital for medical assistance. The officers said that investigation into the matter has been launched.

Earlier Fire broke out at a CNG pump in Lahore on Thursday, however, no casualties reported in the incident. According to the details, the fire at the pump extinguished. The fire broke out at Pump located in Barkat town of Lahore’s Shadrah area.

Through the immediate response of the firefighters, the fire extinguisher. Moreover, people present at the station and the surrounding areas evacuated safely. No injuries and casualties reported in the incident however the cause of fire investigated.

The CNG station sealed until further investigations.

The fire broke out at Karachi CNG Station

In March 2019, Two persons killed and four others injured in a cylinder explosion at a CNG filling station in Karachi. a fire broke out in the compressor room of the filling station after the CNG gas cylinder exploded near Powerhouse Chowrangi.

As a result, two persons, including pump owner Muhammad Rashid and Saqib died while four people, Faqeer Muhammad, Hamza, Moheed, and Zarnis sustained injuries. The bodies and injured shifted to hospitals.

Soon after the incident, the fire brigade reached the location and extinguished the blaze. A heavy contingent of law enforcement agencies also reached the site and sealed the gas station.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also took notice of the incident. He directed Commissioner Karachi to take immediate steps for enforcing a complete ban on low standard CNG cylinders.

He also sought a detailed inquiry report of the incident and ordered the authorities to provide the best medical facilities to injured people.
