Italy has marked worst day for casualties since the coronavirus pandemic crisis began as the death toll from the outbreak rose to 4,825 on Saturday.
According to the official figures, the death toll in Italy from the COVID-19 had surged by 793 over the last 24 hours, while the total number of diagnosed cases increased by 14 per cent to 53,578.

He added that the best thing was for people to stay at home.

“This is why I decided to adopt even more strong and severe measures to contain the advance… and protect the health of all citizens.”
Note that the death toll in Italy reaches 463 from 366 on Monday. In addition to this, the number of cases has also increased by 24%.
All 20 Italian regions contain coronavirus cases.
