All nightclubs, parks and clubs in Dubai, Abu Dabi and emirates of Sharjah have been closed temporarily till March end to limit the spread of coronavirus. A circular has been issued by the Department of Culture and Tourism states that nightclubs and tourist restaurants in Abu Dhabi will be shut-down with immediate effect till the end of March to prevent the spread of coronavirus. “All our clubs are shut until further notice. However, pubs are open. We have to avoid large gatherings,” a hotel manager said

The Sharjah Municipality also confirmed in a tweet the closure of a number of nightclubs and parks in the emirate until further notice as a measure to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus. The closure included the Al Mahatta Park, Sharjah National Park, , Al Fayha 1&2 Parks, Al Manakh Park, Abu Shagarah ParkAl Nahda Park, Al Mamzar Park, Al Safiya Park, Al Nasiriyah Park, Al Nad Park, and the Green Belt Ladies Park and Al Fisht Park.
These directives follow the recent ban imposed on hotels and cafes from serving shisha in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
