Earlier today, Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Dr Arif Alvi (PM and President) pledged to take all measures that would help women to lead a safe, secure and prosperous life.

President Arif Alvi on Twitter paid a glowing tribute to Pakistani women.
President quoted founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah on the role and power of women and shared Jinnah’s picture with his sister Fatima Jinnah, Mother of the Nation.
Quaid’s quote on women shared by the president stated: “Power of women is greater than the pen and sword.”
Women’s day is celebrated across the globe for equality which often women struggle to get. Be it workplace or any other sector, women have to face various issues like unequal pay. And, to achieve equality in society, women have been dealing with consequences for decades now.
