Pakistan stock exchange (PSX) experienced a bearish trend as KSE 100 index closed at 28,109. The index gained 842 points from 27,267.2.
Today a total of 169,438,326 shares were traded at Pakistan stock exchange whereas 186,745,170 shares were traded yesterday. The total value of the shares traded is Rs 4.233 billion whereas yesterday the total value of the shares traded was Rs5.537 billion.
The top traded companies were K-Electric Ltd with a total volume of 41,173,000 shares and price/share of Rs 2.75, Unity Foods Ltd with a total volume of 11, 264, 50 and price/share of Rs 8.16 and Hascol petrol with a total volume of 10,474,000 and price/ share of Rs 10.96.
Pak Tobacco saw the maximum increase of Rs 50.92 per share, closing at Rs 1699.98 followed by Rafhan which was up with an increase of Rs 50per share, closing at Rs 6400.
Sapphire Fiber observed maximum decrease of Rs 54.28 per share, closing at Rs 670 while Bhanero Tex.XD share prices decreased by Rs 44 per share closing at Rs 671.
