Pakistan Foreign Office has confirmed that 41 Pakistanis stranded in India will be returning back to the country on Thursday.

Foreign Office spokesperson Aisha Farooqui says “We remain engaged for the safe and early repatriation of all Pakistanis stranded in India.”

Yesterday, in line with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s instructions to all Missions, 267 Pakistani nationals stranded in Japan & Thailand due to coronavirus have been repatriated via Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight.

Foreign Office spokesperson Dr. Aisha Farooqui stated that Pakistan Embassies in Tokyo and Bangkok in coordination with governments of Japan & Thailand facilitated the citizens of Pakistan.
