9 coronavirus patients lost their lives today, CM Sindh

Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah said that today 9 people lost their lives in the province due to coronavirus thus the total number of deaths has risen to 277 while 5034 further tests revealed 787 new cases.

According to details, in a statement issued from the Chief Minister’s House, Murad Ali Shah said that 5034 tests were conducted in which 787 new cases came to light which is 15.7% of the tests.

Murad Ali Shah said that the government has so far conducted 1,22,894 tests out of which 16,377 patients have been diagnosed which is 13.3% of the total tests.

The Chief Minister also said that the number of patients infected with Coronavirus has reached 277 which is 1.7% of the total patients while the number of patients recovering from 405 more patients has increased to 4209 which is 26%.

Murad Ali Shah said that at present 11891 patients are undergoing treatment out of which 10485 are in isolation at home, 838 are in isolation centers and 568 are undergoing treatment in different hospitals while the condition of 114 patients is critical.

Murad Ali Shah also said that the Sindh Chief Minister said that out of 787 patients, 515 are from Karachi, out of which 147 are in Eastern District, 121 in South District, 109 in Central District, 52 in Malir, 44 in Korangi and 42 in West District.

The Chief Minister said in his statement that 31 new cases have come to light in Shikarpur, Larkana and Sukkur 25-25, Hyderabad 16, Ghotki 14, Qambar Shahdadkot 13, Khairpur 6 and 3 news cases in Jamshoro.

Syed Murad Ali Shah also said that there are 451 ventilators in government hospitals in Sindh, out of which 109 coronaviruses have been reserved for patients out of which only 31 patients are on ventilators which shows 16% use of ventilators.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah further said that we have equipped our hospitals and Coronavirus centers with all the necessary facilities so that they can provide the best medical facilities to their patients.
