Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed dissatisfaction with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central government’s measures against the coronavirus, saying the prime minister has not fulfilled his responsibility during the pandemic crisis.

Addressing the National Assembly session for the first time after the lockdown due to coronavirus in Pakistan, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto paid tribute to doctors, paramedics and nurses and said that 11 health workers had been martyred.

He said the Coronavirus has exposed the realities of world leaders, including Donald Trump of the United States and Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, because crises are a test for the leadership.

Bilawal said that it is unfortunate that our Prime Minister who is also the Minister of Health is not present in the Assembly even today, though it is his duty to inform the House and the people. It would be better if the Prime Minister were present in the Assembly today,” he said.

“We expected national consensus, but the foreign minister has targeted Sindh province and the 18th amendment, but I will not talk about it because we have to work together against coronavirus,” he said.
