Mr Yao Jing, China’s Ambassador to Pakistan called on Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed bajwa.
According to the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), both the dignitaries discussed regional security issues and Novel coronavirus pandemic.
Army chief expressed gratitude for China’s support including visit of Chinese medical expert team to help Pak fight pandemic. Visiting dignitary also re-assured China’s continued support for Pakistan, ISPR added.

Yesterday, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri held a phone call on Monday evening.
During the phone conversation, Both the dignitaries discussed the coronavirus crisis and matters of mutual interest.
According to the Iranian media, Major General Bagheri expressed satisfaction with the growing relations between the two countries and also the fraternal atmosphere between the Pak-Iran Armed Force, saying “Iran’s Armed Forces are ready to improve relations.”
General Qamar Javed Bajwa called for increased cooperation to maintain and stabilize border security and prevent terrorist acts at common borders.
