Israel has claimed ‘significant breakthrough’ in developing antibodies against the coronavirus pandemic.

Interestingly, Israel is one of the few countries in the world that claimed to have developed a vaccine against coronavirus in February this year.

The Israeli government claimed in February that its experts were close to developing a vaccine against coronavirus, and that the vaccine would be tested on humans in a few weeks.

Israel claims that its experts have developed antibodies to treat the CIVID-19 pandemic.

The Israeli newspaper The Times of Israel reported that the Israeli defense minister claimed that Jewish experts had succeeded in developing antibodies to treat coronavirus.

According to the newspaper, a statement issued by the office of Defense Minister Naftali Bennett claimed that experts from the Israel Institute of Biological Research (IIBR) have developed  antibodies for the treatment of coronavirus after a long struggle as the researchers wrapped up the development phase and moved to patent and mass produce the potential treatment.

The statement claimed that antibodies developed by the biological research institute kill the virus inside the patient’s body.

The statement did not provide transparent or complete information on the preparation of the antibodies.

This is the first time that a country has claimed to have developed antibodies to treat coronavirus, but Israel has not provided any information regarding the development of such antibodies.

Time of Israel further reported that Israeli Health Ministry is planning to introduce widespread coronavirus antibody tests to get an idea of the number of asymptomatic Israelis who are infected but haven’t been tested for the virus.

“The antibody tests will be launched over the next two weeks and will focus first on infection hotspots and groups that come into continuous contact with the public, such as medics and policemen.” the news paper added.

It is believed that coronavirus patients around the world are being treated with antibodies before, antibodies are obtained from people who have recovered from coronavirus.

Antibodies are actually cells that look slurry and are present in human blood.
