Coronavirus-Pakistan to get $4 million aid from Japan

Japan has decided to help Pakistan in fighting against coronavirus pandemic. Pakistan is likely to receive the fifth tranche of aid worth $4 million.

According to a press release by the Japanese Embassy, Pakistan had earlier received total assistance of $3,410,000 through the United Nations Children’s Fund, International Organization for Migration, International Federation of Red Cross and UN High Commission for Refugees for fighting against coronavirus pandemic.

According to the sources, the United Nations Office for Project Services will offer technical help as well as equipment to control the spread of coronavirus in Pakistan.
