Prime Minister Imran Khan said Corona Relief Tiger Force volunteers will assist people to register for Ehsaas Web portal through special digital desks that are being established at the union council levels.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said while talking to the volunteers of Corona Relief Tiger Force in Islamabad.
In addition to this, the premier also said that volunteers will also help in maintaining SOPs in each sector.
Moreover, volunteers are also asked to keep visiting utility stores across the country to make sure social distancing is followed, and also check the availability of necessities in the stores.
Furthermore, he directed the volunteers to monitor those involved in hoarding. If they find such act, report to the district administration for further actions.
Corona Task Force will work under supervision of PM Office, Usman Dar
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar was also present on the occasion. He said that corona relief Tiger Force of 1 million volunteers would be directly supervised by Prime Minister Office and in coordination with the district administration.
He informed that volunteers would coordinate through digital codes and a special mobile application for the assignment of their responsibilities in various areas.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program for social protection, and for providing support to the needy families.
Each deserving applicant will receive Rs 12,000 each under this program. Over 12 million families will avail of the program.
The federal government has begun the registration of the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program. Prime Minister Imran Khan has introduced an SMS service on Wednesday for the needy families.
