The Pakistan Airlines Pilots Association (PALPA) says high-rise buildings near the airport and kite flying violate civil aviation law.

Senior pilot and spokesman Palpa Tariq Yahya said that according to the reports received so far, there was no power in the plane, the authentic information will be received from the recording of the black box.

Senior pilot Tariq Yahya said that the pilot of the plane was told to take the plane up. When both the engines failed, a force landing had to be done but the plane was not at a high altitude.

He said that tall buildings near the airport and kite flying were a violation of civil aviation law.

Note that, a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) A320 Airbus en route from Lahore to Karachi crashed in a residential area near Jinnah International Airport Karachi.

According to initial reports, the incident took place in Jinnah Garden area of Model Colony, where the plane crashed into residential houses in which several people were lost their lives.

PIA spokesman Abdullah Hafeez confirmed the incident and said that PIA Flight 8303 was coming from Lahore to Karachi with 90 passengers and eight crew members.
