Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has been extended the deadlines of Mobile device blocking to June 3 due to Coronavirus outbreak.
According to the details, extension was made to ensure easy access to the people and social distance in the current situation.
The statement of PTA said, “The extension has been given to provide relief and facilitation to the public and ensure social distancing during this difficult time. ”
“The blocking of such mobile devices will start from 4th June 2020 and will be communicated via SMS well in time.” statement added.

A PTA spokesperson said that these registered mobile devices will be blocked from June 4 and will be notified via SMS, while these registered mobile phones must be registered within 60 days.
