Prime Minister Imran Khan had a meeting with former National Assembly member Najeeb Haroon.
Resigned PTI National Assembly member Najeeb Haroon said that Karachi should get its rights. The development package could not be implemented by the federation in Karachi.
According to details, resigned PTI National Assembly member Najeeb Haroon had a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan in which Najeeb Haroon informed the Prime Minister about his concerns regarding the city.
In the meeting, Najib Haroon said that several projects including K4 are pending so the Prime Minister should take notice of these projects.
He also said that MNAs of Karachi in the cabinet do not represent us, non-elected people should not be included in the cabinet.
Najib Haroon also said that one of the other MNAs should be given representation in the cabinet. I will not attend any session of Parliament, he added.
Resigned PTI National Assembly member Najib Haroon further said that it is in the best interest of all of us for the PTI to be on the path of justice while the eyes of the people are on us and we have to do something.
The Prime Minister assured that the demands of Najib Haroon would be considered and said that his demands were correct and would be met after review.
Earlier, Najeeb Haroon had resigned from the National Assembly on April 16.
Najib Haroon, Member National Assembly from Karachi, had tendered his resignation to Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Dr Arif Alvi.
Najib Haroon said that it has been 20 months since he was elected as a member of the National Assembly but during that time he could not do anything for his constituency nor for the city of Karachi, so my conscience is not satisfied.
