The government has decided to change the prices of petroleum products.

According to details, a statement issued by the Finance Ministry said that the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 7.6 per liter.

A statement from the Finance Ministry said that the price of diesel has been increased by 5 paisa per liter while the price of kerosene has been reduced by 11 rupees 88 paisa.

The statement from the Ministry of Finance further said that the price of light diesel has been reduced by Rs 9.37 and the new prices will be applicable from 12 am tonight.

Earlier, according to Petroleum Division sources, the price of petrol had been reduced by Rs7.6 per liter while the price of diesel had been increased by Rs5 per liter.

In addition, the price of kerosene was reduced by Rs 11.88 paise and light diesel by Rs 9.37 paise.

According to sources, after final approval, the new prices will be applicable from June 1, 2020.

It is to be noted that OGRA had recommended a reduction in the prices of petroleum products.
