Director General Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) Lt. Gen. Faiz Hamid called on Prime Minister Imran Khan today.
According to the details, both the dignitaries matters pertaining to national security were discussed during the meeting.
Today in a separate meeting, Special Assitant to the Prime Minister on National Security Moeed Yusuf also called on Prime Minister Imran.
During the meeting the regional situation were discussed with a focus on the recent acts of aggression perpetrated by the Indian government.
Measures to bring back stranded Pakistanis due to the global outbreak of Novel coronavirus were also considered.
Earlier in April, Prime Minister Imran Khan, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, federal ministers and advisers visited the ISI headquarters, where DG ISI Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed received the Prime Minister.
During the visit, the Prime Minister was briefed on the impact of Coronavirus along with the challenges faced on the internal and external fronts.
Appreciating the services and sacrifices of the top state agency ISI, the Prime Minister said that no stone would be left unturned to safeguard the security, integrity and sovereignty of the country.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umar, Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Forough Naseem, Abdul Razao Dawood and Umar Ayub.
