PTI local leader Liaqat Gondal gunned down in Jehlum

Armed miscreants gunned-down a political leader near Jehlum mosque, a result, the local leader died on the spot.

According to the Police, local leader Liaqat Gondal was going to offer prayer is mosque where unknown assailants opened fire on him and he succumbed to death on the spot.

The police shifted the body of the deceased to civil hospital of Jehlum for autopsy and started search operation to find the perpetrators of gruesome murder..

After hearing the saddened news of the demise of local political leader Minister for Science and Technology  Fawad Chaudhry rushed to Jhelum district to express solidarity with victim’s family.

In a statement Fawad Chaudhry  said the local leader of the party had been performing best work for the community.
