They Labor, Social Services and Family of Turkey announced on Friday that visitors will not be allowed in retirement and nursing homes across the country on Mother’s Day on during Eid also.

According to the statement, the ministry said that the visitors will not be allowed in nursing homes, disability care centers and rehabilitation centers on Mother’s day and Eid.

The decision was taken to control the spread of coronavirus as the novel coronavirus continues to affect thousands of people specially aged across the planet.

The ministry also advised to not send gifts and flowers to these institutions.

It is to be noted that Mother’s Day will be celebrated this Sunday and the Eid ul Fitr holiday from May 24-26 in the country.

Erdogan discusses to alleviate lockdown restrictions in Turkey

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has once again threatened military action in northern Syria.

Speaking at a cabinet meeting on Monday, President Erdogan said attacks still continue on the area reserved for the safe zone from Syria”, saying “We can’t be more tolerant. These attacks are a clear violation of agreements”  he said.

Erdogan said his government would continue to support the national federal government in Libya. Soon we will hear a good news from Libyan government. The meeting also discussed the ongoing pandemic situation in Turkey and looked into the matter to ease lockdown restrictions.

Travel restrictions in seven low risk cities of Turkey, namely Antalya, Aydin, Erzurum, Hatay, Malatya, Mersin, and Mugla, will be eased gradually. He said that the travel ban for the elderly and youth would also be free from the next week.
