Sindh government has taken a big decision regarding lockdown.

A delegation of businessmen had called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah today (May 28) and Sindh government has decided to allow the business community to open markets under SOPs on Friday and Saturday.

Businessman Mirza Ikhtiar Baig while talking to BOL News after meeting Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, said that Sindh Chief Minister has said that the markets will be open on Fridays and Saturdays under SOPs, tomorrow from 12 noon to 3:30 pm. There will be no lockdown in between, Friday prayers will be offered under SOPs.

Mirza Ikhtiar Baig further said that he has also proposed to the Sindh Chief Minister to increase the working hours of restaurants.

The delegation included Siraj Teli Chairman Business Group, Agha Shehab President Karachi Chamber, Arshad Aslam Senior Vice President KCCI, Athar Chawla Chairman Restaurant Association, Mian Zahid of FPCCI, Khurram Ijaz FPCCI, Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Saeedah Mandviwala and Saleem Mandviwala, Deputy Chairman Senate.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by Information Minister Nasir Hussain Shah, Minister of Labour, Education and Human Resources Saeed Ghani, Excise Minister Mukesh Kumar Chawla and Industries Minister Ikramullah Dharijo.
