Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that Army is the guarantor of peace in the country.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Command and Staff College Quetta where he addressed the officers and faculty.
The ISPR also said that during his visit to Command and Staff College Quetta, the Army Chief highlighted the current internal and external challenges.
Speaking on the occasion, General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the army was working with other national institutions to control the COVID-19 pandemic, adding that a lasting peace in the region was possible with the resolution of unresolved disputes.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa added that lasting peace and stability in South Asia depended on resolving long-standing disputes in the region. He added that regional disputes could only be resolved with the cooperation of the international community.
