COAS telephones Shehbaz Sharif, prays for his recovery

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa telephoned PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif to ask about his health.

During the telephone conversation, the Army Chief inquired from Shehbaz Sharif about his health while expressing concern over Shehbaz Sharif’s condition and Coronavirus being positive.

PML-N spokesperson said that during the talks, the Army Chief prayed for Shehbaz Sharif’s recovery and also asked for help in medical treatment.

It may be recalled that Shehbaz Sharif, Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, also tested positive for the coronavirus.

PML-N leader Ataullah Tarar has requested the nation to pray for Shehbaz Sharif’s speedy recovery.

According to PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb, Shehbaz Sharif was repeatedly undergoing corona tests, following the instructions of doctors.

In a statement after Shehbaz Sharif’s corona test came positive, Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan had said that he also prayed for a speedy recovery for other league leaders suffering from COVID-19.

He said that Shehbaz Sharif’s stay healthy is very important for Pakistan and the people of Pakistan. He hoped that Shehbaz Sharif would take active part in practical steps against Corona after quarantine.
