Transporters are not allowed to open inter-provincial transport and the deadlock remains on opening of inter-provincial transport.
According to sources, negotiations between transporters and Sindh government are fruitless.
The sources said that Secretary Transport Ghulam Abbas, Secretary Provincial Transport Authority and Supreme Council of All Pakistan Transporters delegation including Asif Mehmood, Hanif Marwat and Akhtar Saeed attended the meeting.
Representatives of the Sindh government and transporters handed over the proposals to each other.
It is to be noted that a committee consisting of representatives of both Sindh government and transporters was formed.
The committee will review SOPs and terminals and the meeting will be reconvened in two days.
There are 10 terminals in Karachi where SOPs will be reviewed and the decision will be taken after observing the situation.
