A helpline has been set up to assist healthcare workers fighting against coronavirus.
Dr Zafar Mirza, Special Assistant for Health, said in a media briefing that the welfare of front line health care workers is a top priority in the strategy regarding Coronavirus.
The Special Assistant for Health said that we had recently announced a comprehensive support package. He said that the government set up a helpline where health care workers fighting the coronavirus could register a complaint.
Dr Zafar Mirza said that this helpline will start its work from today. The centre of the helpline will be NCOC.
He said that health care workers would be able to send their grievances in a timely manner.
The Special Assistant for Health said that health care workers can also send their complaints to the special WhatsApp number in addition to 1166. +923001111166 Healthcare workers can send their complaint in writing in WhatsApp chatbot.
Dr Zafar Mirza said that after sending the complaint, the complaint management system will come into action. After receiving the complaint, the system will know which province the complaint belongs to and will be sent to the focal persons immediately.
He further said that after resolving the complaint, your number will be contacted and it will be explained how your complaint has been resolved or what its status is.
The Special Assistant for Health said that the Prime Minister and the government have given top priority to health care workers at the federal and provincial levels.
