India is conspiring to oust me from power: Nepalese Prime Minister

Nepalese Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has accused India of conspiring with political rivals to oust him.

According to the details, Nepalese Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said at an official function that “attempts are being made to remove me from power but they will not succeed”.

“I know the secret movement, there have been a variety of activities in embassies and hotels,” he said.

“If you are listening to the media in New Delhi, you will get a hint,” the Nepali Premier said.

The Nepalese prime minister’s statement comes a week after parliament approved the inclusion of the Kalapani, Limpiyadhura and Lipulekh in its map.

These areas on the map are the main cause of the border dispute between India and Nepal.

According to media reports, differences arose between Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Communist Party Executive Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda over the party’s leadership.

The differences between the leaders also came to the fore in a meeting of the party’s standing committee where Oli was criticized for not attending two meetings of the party while he had briefly attended the last meeting.

The border dispute between Nepal and India has been going on for the past few months, with India objecting to Nepal’s move to include the Kalapani, Limpiyadhura and Lipulekh areas in its map.

On the other hand, Nepal maintains that despite constant objections, India claims the Darchola-Lipolekh corridor, while India claims that the corridor is within its territory.

Nepal’s parliament approved a new map of the country a week ago that includes areas disputed with India.

The speaker of Nepal’s parliament said the lower house had approved the new map, including the disputed areas.

Agni Prasad Sepakota, the speaker of Nepal’s parliament, said the new map was approved by 258 of the 275 members, more than two-thirds.

What is the border dispute between the two countries?

Tensions between India and Nepal have been simmering for at least 200 years over an area on the border between the two countries called Kala Pani.

Historically, the area was part of Nepal, but in 1816 an agreement was reached between the state of Nepal and the then British Indian Government of United India, which was called the Sugauli Treaty.

Under the agreement, the state of Nepal relinquished its claim to the Kalapani area, but at the same time, some rights were given to Nepal.

But 150 years later, when United India was divided and India became a separate country, it annexed the area as well as other areas, but Nepal has been protesting since then.

The Indian government is of the view that under the 1816 agreement, the Kalapani area is now its property, while Nepal is of the view that the real owner of the area is with Nepal.

But recently, tensions between the two countries erupted when the Indian government inaugurated a road in the area that connects China and India.

Nepal has expressed annoyance over India’s claim to the disputed territory as its own and build a road without seeking a proposal from Nepal, and the Nepalese government has issued a map showing the Kalapani area as part of Nepal.

The Kala Pani area is located on the ground between the Indian state of Uttarakhand and the Nepalese province of Sadar in West Bengal, and interestingly, along the border between the two countries lies the disputed Chinese territory of Tibet.

The Kalapani area is a combination of Limpiyadhura and Lipulekh, located in the foothills of the Himalayas on the border of three countries, Nepal, India and China, which has caused tensions between the three countries.
