The Sri Lankan cricket board has expressed hope that the series, which was canceled due to the coronavirus, could be played in August.
It is to be noted that due to the global outbreak of Coronavirus, sports activities have been suspended for the last four months. However, two days ago, the West Indian team arrived in England on a tour where they will face England in Test and short format matches.
After this, the Pakistan team will also go on a tour of England, for which preparations are almost complete.
Earlier, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has canceled a training camp ahead of a tour of England due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The PCB spokesperson said, in view of the Coronavirus situation in Pakistan in the coming weeks, it is estimated that providing logistical and operational issues to provide a safe environment for the players will be a challenge.
