The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has predicted that next fiscal year, Pakistan’s inflation rate will be higher than other countries in the region.
According to details, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has released the Asian Development Outlook Supplementary Report.
According to a report released by the ADB, Pakistan’s economic growth is expected to be 2% next fiscal year, while inflation is projected at 8%.
Inflation is expected to be 4% in India and 5.5% in Bangladesh next year.
Pakistan’s economic growth rate will be better than Bhutan but less than other countries. India’s economic growth rate is forecast to be 5%, Bangladesh 7.5%.
Pakistan’s economic growth rate this year will be minus 0.4 percent, while inflation will be 11 percent this year.
South Asia’s economic growth rate will be minus 3 percent this year, while the South Asian region will grow at 4.9 percent next year. India’s economic growth rate will be negative 4% this year.
Despite the easing of lockdowns in Asia, Corona’s negative effects will continue. Policy measures will have to be taken to overcome the negative effects of Coronavirus. A further wave of Coronavirus can bring more financial crisis.
